Volunteering with the National Trust at Thurstaston

What a great day cutting trees and clearing bushes to prevent the woods encroaching onto the heathland which is a Site of Scientific Interest. Saving the heather and gorse and cutting trees was the wrong way round for some people but they seemed to be the most enthusiastic!
